Welcome to Hilgay and Ten Mile Bank

Hilgay is a small Norfolk village with a long history. It rises (almost imperceptably) from the surrounding flat fenland and was an island at the time of the Doomesday Book. It is a small friendly place surrounded by farmland and although it has moved to embrace new technology (it has fast broadband) is it still has a welcoming village feel to it.

Ten Mile Bank is a rural, fenland village situated 5 miles from the market town of Downham Market, and Just accross the A10 opposite hilgay Village. Ten Mile Bank enjoys miles of beautiful walks along the river Great Ouse, the village has a small primary school, and St marks Church can be found nestling quietly overlooking the river.
